Congratulations to Tim McKee of Minneapolis restaurant La Belle Vie fame! He is the recipient of the James Beard Foundation 2009 Award for Best Chef: Midwest. I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. McKee a couple of years ago and doing some photography for La Belle Vie as well, and he is an all-around class-act who I know has been in the running for this award before. Well done Tim!
